vol. 2: meet the artists

EXHIBITION & MARKET — FALL 2023

Ceramic conversation heart sculpture by @4clairity, commissioned by Love Letter

Flyer design by @le_jes

A neo-ethereal portal for love, fashion, art, and spirit: On October 19-21, Love Letter presents its spooky and beautiful vol. 2 pop_up with a lineup of 20+ artists and designers making precious and one-of-a-kind clothing, tattoos, jewelry, ceramics, and… bread and butter. ;) Join us in this feast for the heart and spirit.

The newest artists to Love Letter create everything from digital and analog art to wearables: delicate knits and heavy silver pieces by Sydney Henry of @ozaawaaaa, whispery soft works in pencil by Dagmar Bischoff @stickandpray, and the gem-covered soft jewels of Kristen Chiu’s world of @thingamajig_objects.

Natacha Ruiz / @shop40korless will have a Love Letter-curated rack of her most-loved archive 90s-2000s and vintage pieces, as modeled above by Teva Livne / @magic_world_girl - a Piscean painter of ethereal beings and prolific sculptor of sparkling cats that instantly pull you into a her magic world.

Curating the artists’ works into a collective stream-of-consciousness visual field, Jess Parsons / @le_jes, “mother” of Love Letter, invites local New Yorkers catching her attention and artists as far away as Hawaii and Italy to contribute to the collaborative vision of each Love Letter pop_up.

From Chicago, vol. 2 will feature airy, delicate knitwear in berry and brown hues by Michelle Nia / @michelle__nia and gorgeously earthy sculptural ceramic hearts by Claire Elizabeth / @4clairity made in collaboration with LL. This collaboration marks the first of many to come, and the second one to be available exclusively at vol. 2.

In addition to Claire’s tender heart pieces, Love Letter created a limited edition of unique logo totes crafted by Los Angeles-based Japanese-American designer Nicole Tiedemann of @thelaughinggeisha.
